Subjects & Syllabus

 Subjects:No subject is compulsory.Students can choose any 5 easy subjects of their choice to get a Passing Certificate.

Choose from the following

Languages:Minimum one maximum 2

Other Subjects:Minimum 3-4

Important Notes for Secondary Level (10th)
  • Students must select a minimum of 5 subjects.
  • At least one language subject from Group A is mandatory.
  • The remaining subjects can be selected from Group B.
  • Students may choose two additional subjects by paying extra fees as per NIOS norms.
  • All Group A language subject examinations are conducted on the same day and at the same time, so students should select only one language subject from this group.
  • Subjects marked with an (*) include both Theory and Practical examinations.
Indian Knowledge Tradition Certificate

Students who successfully complete the following subjects:

  • Veda Adhyayan
  • Sanskrit Vyakaran
  • Bharatiya Darshan
  • Sanskrit Sahitya

along with a Sanskrit language subject at the Secondary level will be awarded an “Indian Knowledge Tradition” Certificate.
